Juror Statement
There are many ways to say “Red”. The work submitted for this exhibition represented a diverse group of creative thinkers and it was obvious many hours of work went into each piece. The design and composition were of particular interest to us and we had a several lively discussions resulting from our various artistic backgrounds. Ultimately we chose pieces that maintained their presence and spoke a decisive voice. We are happy with the diversity of design, technique and point of view this group of textiles includes. The result is a strong, cohesive show.
